As a conservative opinion writer, it’s disheartening to see the Biden administration’s negligence and mismanagement of our southern border.
The recent revelation by Republican Senators Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, and Joni Ernst that the Department of Defense (DoD) is wasting $130,000 daily on storing border wall materials is yet another example of this administration’s incompetence.
These materials, procured under President Trump’s administration, could be used to fortify our southern border and improve national security. Instead, they lie unused in southern Arizona and New Mexico.
Our Senators are right to demand answers from Assistant Secretary Dalton and to push for better utilization of these resources.
The Biden administration must be held accountable for its disastrous border policies and its failure to protect our nation.
It’s time for them to take action and prioritize our country’s security.
