Susan Rice, the former National Security Advisor and United Nations Ambassador has announced that she will be stepping down as President Joe Biden’s Domestic Policy Advisor.
Rice has helped to expand and strengthen the Affordable Care Act, release a comprehensive national mental health strategy, enable Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices for seniors, and cap the cost of insulin at $35.
She has also worked to reduce gun violence, advance police reform, and address our failed approach to marijuana. No replacement has been finalized yet.
