Biden’s Sinking Presidency, A Dark Cloud of Disapproval Looms

The latest Fox News national survey reveals that President Joe Biden’s approval rating has remained low, with only 44% of people approving of his job performance and 56% disapproving. According to Republican pollster Daron Shaw, this rating has remained stagnant despite several policy rollouts.

Although some groups, such as women, voters aged 45 and older, suburban voters, rural voters, and Democrats, have given the president a low approval rating, independents have improved from his low of 26% last August, with a current approval rating of 35%.

The president’s handling of national security, foreign policy, border security, and the economy has received disapproval ratings of 53%, 54%, 60%, and 64%, respectively.

Despite this, Biden has implemented policies that voters approve of, such as the executive order requiring criminal background checks on gun buyers, which 74% of people approve of.

Similarly, the Willow Project, an oil drilling plan in northern Alaska, has the approval of 54% of voters, with more than half of Democrats, independents, and Republicans approving of it.

The Fox News poll surveyed 1,007 registered voters nationwide who were randomly selected from a voter file and spoke with live interviewers on both landlines and cellphones.
