However, on “”Fox News Sunday,”” Manchin defended his position, arguing that the administration should adhere to the intent and how the bill was written. He called on President Biden to implement the act as it was written and to negotiate serious reforms to the federal budget.
While some on the right have criticized Manchin’s position, the senator maintains that those who criticize him have not read the bill.
The Inflation Reduction Act was signed in August 2022 and aims to address the issue of inflation in the United States.
