Republican Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger from Tennessee has endorsed former President Donald Trump and joined his campaign leadership team, citing the failures of President Biden’s administration to address the pressing challenges facing the United States.
According to Harshbarger’s campaign, the American economy is teetering on the brink of recession, and an entire generation is at risk of drug overdose deaths, worsened by an open border.
She also noted that lawlessness has become the norm in Democrat-run cities and states, and the judicial systems have made criminals into victims.
Harshbarger’s endorsement of Trump comes as a signal of her belief in his proven track record of delivering results and putting America first. She urges her fellow East Tennesseans to join her in supporting the former president and returning to the conservative values and leadership that made America great.
In the 2022 election, Trump previously endorsed Harshbarger, praising her work in Congress to fight for strong borders, secure elections, the Second Amendment, and the military.
The endorsement of Harshbarger by Trump in the past and now Harshbarger’s endorsement of Trump signals their faith in each other’s leadership and policies.
It will be interesting to see whether Trump will enter the 2024 presidential race and how the Republican party prepares for the nomination.
